Musculo-skeletal tumors are very rare. Their diagnosis and treatment requires an outstanding expertise of the orthopaedic surgeon and an interdisciplinary network of radiologists, pathologists, oncologists, psychologists, radiotherapists and nuclear medicin.
It is also recommended to ask for a second opinion in case of a radical treatment of a malignant tumour.
