Oncologic follow up

You did have a muscel skeletal tumor or a sarcoma?

Regular follow up investigations are necessary to detect possible recurrences. Early detection enables early treatment and gives you the certainty after successful oncologic treatment. The follow up schedule depends on the diagnosis and course of disease. The most common follow up examinations are MRI or CT scans of the previous tumor site, CT scans of the lungs, the belly and lymphnodes, and - in case of bone involvement - whole body scintigraphy. Your individual follow up protocol is coordinated with your oncologist and general practitioner.
